If you think that you are the next David Cook or Fantasia Barrino,well American Idol 8 will hit the road in search of contestants starting on July 17th in San Francisco.Men and women 16-28 years old as of July 15, 2008,who are eligible to work in the U.S. are welcomed to audition,they can do so in the following places:

San Francisco, CA: July 17
Louisville, KY: July 21
Phoenix, AZ: July 25
Salt Lake City, UT: July 29
San Juan, Puerto Rico: Aug. 2
Kansas City, MO: Aug. 8
Jacksonville, FL: Aug. 13
East Rutherford, NJ: Aug. 19
