Creaky Boards Coldplay Theft: “The Songs I Didn’t Write” “Viva La Vida” Copyright Infringement
Coldplay has been accused of stealing their hit song entitled “Viva La Vida”, from the YouTube channel of a Brooklyn-based rock band called “Creaky Boards”.The lead singer of the band, Andrew Hoepfner posted a YouTube clip that combines both “Viva la Vida” and the group’s song ironically entitled “The Songs I Didn’t Write.” Andrew is claiming that he saw Chris Martin when his band the Creaky Boards played at the CMJ festival in October 2007.Andrew said:
“We were flattered when we thought we spotted Chris Martin in the crowd that night. He seemed pretty into it!…Maybe TOO into it.”

Coldplay Tour Postponed:New Coldplay Tour Dates
Coldplay has postponed the start of its North American tour by two weeks due to unspecified production delays. The tour in support of the band’s upcoming album entitled Viva La Vida was scheduled to launch in Philadelphia on June 29th.Coldplay will now hit the road starting in Los Angeles July 14th-15th. It will close August 4th in Boston.Tickets for the original dates will be valid for the new ones. Refunds are also available at points of purchase.

Coldplay have revealed that they are working on a new song with Jay-Z and Beyonce.The band has asked the newlyweds to sing with them.The English group’s frontman Chris Martin said in a recent interview with Capitol Radio:
“They are super gifted.”
Coldplay will release their fourth studio album called “Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends” (usually called Viva la Vida) on June 12 ,2008 in the UK and June 17,2008 in America.
