Calvin Hutton Cher Harassed Nashville Tootsies Orchid Lounge
Believe it or not Cher apparently still has one fan out there.A drunk thirty-six year old man named Calvin Hutton Houghland from Nashville was arrested for disorderly conduct and public intoxication after he repeatedly harassed Cher at the Tootsies Orchid Lounge.Calvin attempted to make contact with Cher this morning and was asked to exit the club. He obeyed but returned a short time later and grabbed Cher by the waist.According to the police report:
“Houghland was escorted out of the establishment. He returned again and was reported to have approached Cher in an aggressive manner. Security blocked his advance. Houghland then called police to report that he was assaulted.
“The police investigation showed that Cher was actually assaulted by Houghland when he grabbed her by the waist. She declined to prosecute. Houghland was repeatedly told to leave the area by officers. He left again, came back, and this time said that he wanted to be arrested. Houghland appeared intoxicated, admitted to drinking three beers, and failed a self-requested field sobriety test.”
Calvin is currently being held on $3,000 bond.
