Hip hop music fans have something really nice to look forward to.

Two of the hottest rappers out there at the moment are planning a joint mixtape that might even end on some shelves somewhere.

Maybach Music Group CEO Rick Ross has announced that he is eying a mixtape with Young Money rapper Drake.

Ross who had to deal with health issues recently, told MTV RapFIX:

“You know, it’s official, the music is most definitely official. But you know, me being a boss, I’m trying to find a way that we could put that on the shelves for the world, baby. But it’s most definitely official. You know, Drake, I consider him a part of the fam. It’s not just the music.”

The project has no official release date yet. Drake released his new “Take Care” album on Tuesday, it is expected to reach 700K in first-week sales numbers.
